Eastern atmospheric river to bring soaking rain, wind and temperature swings

A roller coaster of weather is headed to the central and eastern United States. An atmospheric river will hit the region Wednesday, bringing the potential for flooding rains, powerful winds and dangerous travel conditions that will accompany a dramatic change in temperatures along the Eastern Seaboard — temperatures in the 50s, 60s and 70s will drop to the 20s, 30s and 40s.
