A screaming match erupted during a congressional hearing on the assassination attempts against President-elect Donald Trump, as Rep. Pat Fallon accused acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe of attending a 9/11 memorial event for publicity — and undercutting the agency’s protective stance in the process. Fallon, a Texas Republican, displayed a picture of Rowe standing behind President Joe Biden at the annual 9/11 memorial in New York City. The congressman accused Rowe of positioning himself in the area where the special agent in charge of Biden’s detail should have been so that he would be seen behind the president.
