SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV)– Watertown and the North Country got walloped with feet of lake effect snow over the weekend. Some spots of Jefferson County got more snow in a weekend than Syracuse Airport got over the entire winter season last year!

They may not be measuring in feet Monday morning, but it was the first measurable snowfall at the Syracuse airport for the 2024-2025 winter season.

Barnes Corners, Jefferson County — 65.5″ (Syracuse airport had 60.8″ for the ’23-24 winter season)

Black River, Jefferson County — 52.8″

West Carthage, Jefferson County — 47.2″

Adams, Jefferson County — 45.0″

Watertown, Jefferson County — 39.2″

Lowville, Lewis County — 35.0″

Limerick, Jefferson County — 19″

Brantingham, Lewis County — 17.8″

Brewerton, Onondaga County — 8.0″

Baldwinsville, Onondaga County — 6.0″

Cicero, Onondaga County — 6.0″

Richland, Oswego County — 4.0″

Chittenango, Madison County — 4.0″

Oneida Castle, Madison County — 3.0″

Augusta, Oneida County — 1.5″
