A judge denied Sean “Diddy” Combs’s request for bail for a third time Wednesday evening, ordering the embattled hip-hop impresario to remain in jail until his trial on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian’s ruling sided with federal prosecutors, who have accused Combs of trying to influence potential witnesses and evade surveillance systems even while incarcerated at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, and argued that he cannot be trusted with release before trial, which is scheduled to begin in May.
