Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office searching for several escaped primates

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office needs help locating several escaped primates.
According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, they are working with Yemassee Police and staff at the Alpha Genesis Primate Research Center to locate these primates who escaped earlier Wednesday.
The sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help to locate these primates and return them safely to their enclosures.
If you come across one of the animals, call 911 immediately, do not attempt to interact with them.
