RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — With less than 24 hours before Election Day, former president Donald Trump has made what may have been his final campaign stop in North Carolina.
Trump welcomed supporters at J.S. Dorton Arena at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds on Monday morning. Trump was joined on stage by Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Florida Senator Marco Rubio.
The former president’s schedule heading into Monday afternoon also lists campaign stops in Reading and Pittsburg, Pennsylvania followed by Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The race for the next President of the United States remains too close to call, according to polling released the day before Election Day by Emerson College Polling, The Hill and CBS 17.
In North Carolina, there was virtually no movement from October polling to November, with Trump holding the 1-point advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris, 49% to 48% in both months.
