The core of an overnight storm system that swept across parts of SE Oklahoma City was in a neighborhood near SE 89th and Sooner.
News 9's Matt McCabe is surveying the damage to homes with completely ripped roofs and brick walls torn down.
Certain homes on 84th Street have extensive damage, with power lines on top of them.
So far, there are reports of only five injuries from the storm and they are non-life-threatening, police tell News 9.
"I didn't know what to expect, we didn't have time to get to the storm shelter it just hit so quick," said Aaron Martinez, whose home was damaged form the storm.
Another wave of rain and storms is likely on Sunday. Stay tuned to News 9 for updates.
