Former President Donald Trump took the stage at a rally in Salem, Virginia on Saturday.

Trump started his speech by stating his confidence in the outcome of Election Day in Virginia.

"We win Virginia, we win the whole thing without question," he said.

Trump said he's in Virginia for one simple reason: because he believes he can win the state.

He promised he would keep men out of women's sports and invited members of the Roanoke College swim team onstage to shake their hands. Team Captain Lily Mullins took the mic briefly.

"I would like to thank you, President Trump, for standing with women and vowing to protect the rights of all of us," she said.

Trump moved on to the topic of voting access, specifically about voter ID's and immigration before saying he would win "everything."

"The polls are showing we're gonna win everything--the popular vote, we're gonna win everything," he said.

He said he has put everything on the line but he wouldn't change anything.

"I only want a little thing called your vote," he said.

He blasted "Kamala's economy," deriding what he said were not signs of a recession but signs of a depression.

Trump said America's Black population is being badly impacted by illegal immigrants taking jobs and resources.

"You ought to take a look at those numbers. It's honestly a terrible thing," he said.

He said he is the only candidate in the election who can save the economy.

He said he could be anywhere else in the world, enjoying his time on the beach, but is instead running for President--and now "missing a little part of my ear."

"I like these people, Glenn [Youngkin]," he said after the crowd erupted in applause at that comment.

He fired shots at Kamala Harris and her position on the economy again before moving back to the topic of immigration.

"We are the party of common sense," Trump said, adding that "Walls work."

He spoke highly of Elon Musk, calling his endorsement "great" and connecting his endorsement to those of border patrol agents. Trump thanked the Border Patrol and ICE for the work they do.

Elon Musk came back into the conversation only minutes later, with Trump talking about how Starlink was used in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene.

Trump swung back to the economy, talking about his plans for tax credits to make things easier for Americans.

"No tax on tips. No tax on Social Security and the tax credits," he said.

He plans to start drilling more oil to help end inflation and promised to cut energy bills by half in a year.

"As we rescue our economy, I will also rescue our borders," Trump said.

He talked more about illegal immigrants in America, showing a video of a mother whose daughter died in June. Two illegal .

Trump continued to talk about violence in the U.S. which he said was due to illegal migrants.

"The day I take the oath of office, the migrant invasion ends and the restoration of our country begins," he said. "Because the United States is now an occupied country."

He said on his first day he would launch the largest deportation in the history of America and launch a fight against the "vicious gangs" in the country.

"If they come back into our country it's an automatic 10 years in jail," he said, describing part of his plan for approaching the situation.

He also said law enforcement officers would be protected in the days to come, and said he would be taking another drastic action in the fight again illegal immigration.

"I will immediately ban all sanctuary cities in the United States of America," he said before launching another barrage against Kamala Harris' stance on immigration.

"You can't lead America if you don't love Americans, you can't," he said. "And you can't be president if you hate the American people."

He said everything Harris says is a lie and that she has no visions for the future and can't focus on anything but him, her opponent. He blasted her economic plans and foreign policy strategies before deriding her as someone with low IQ.

"If you want to end this disaster, this horrible trip we're on--just get out and vote," he said.

Trump brought out U.S. Senate candidate Hung Cao. Cao took the mic to speak for a few moments.

"I'll stand by your side as the next Senator in the Commonwealth of Virginia, because we need you to fix it, Donald Trump!" Cao said.

Trump also beckoned Governor Glenn Youngkin up onstage.

"My friends, America needs Donald Trump. Let's go win Virginia!" Youngkin said.

Before turning the conversation back to his speech, Trump also shouted out Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears and Attorney General Jason Miyares.

Thousands gathered outside the Salem Civic Center where the rally took place, listening to the speech outside the venue. Trump said during his speech that there were over 25,000 outside.

He closed out the speech by asking the audience to get out and vote and saying together they would make America great again.

"Together, we will fight, fight, fight, and together we will win, win, win," Trump said.
