As Election Day nears, Donald Trump has made it increasingly clear that if he’s elected, he plans to abuse the powers of the office to go after his critics. Trump has said he would prosecute his political rivals, including Kamala Harris, Joe Biden and Liz Cheney, whom he refers to as “the enemy within.” And he has recently vowed to fire special counsel Jack Smith, who is leading the federal criminal cases against the former president, even saying he should be “thrown out of the country.”
