A new poll shows that the race for governor in New Hampshire remains close.The poll from the Saint Anselm College Survey Center shows Republican candidate Kelly Ayotte leading Democratic candidate Joyce Craig 49% to 46%. The three-point margin is consistent with a poll in early October that showed Ayotte leading 47% to 44%."We've been very consistent with the fact that Ayotte has a three-point lead," said Neil Levesque, of the New Hampshire Institute of Politics. "And this is a hard-fought race. We've seen a lot of activity with the race, a lot of voters focused in on it. But maintaining a lead right now is Kelly Ayotte."The poll of 2,791 New Hampshire likely voters was conducted online on Oct. 28 and 29. It has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 1.9%.The poll showed that Ayotte was leading among New Hampshire voters, even though the candidate at the top of the Republican ticket, former President Donald Trump, is trailing in the state. Voters head to the polls on Tuesday.
