Elon Musk announced he will be giving out a million dollar check every day until the election during a town hall in Pennsylvania Saturday night.
The Tesla CEO said that the recipients of the money will be signers of his surrounding free speech and the right to bear arms.
"I have a surprise for you," said Musk. "We're going to be awarding a million dollars randomly to people who have signed the petition, everyday from now until the election."
How do we get people to know about this petition? Because the legacy media is not willing to report on it. Not everyone's on X," said Musk. "So I figure, how do we get people to know about it? Well this news, I think, will really fly.
The winner at the Harrisburg town hall wasJohn Dreher, who described himself as a "big fan" of Musk.
After awarding Dreher, he said all that he asks is that Dreher continues to be a spokesperson for the petition.
Dreher congratulated Musk on his recent SpaceX rocket catch, thanked him, and said he's been following him for years.
"I got your autobiography ten years ago and I've been following you ever since," said Dreher to Musk. "Big fan."
It comes just days after he began offering $100 to those signing the petition in announcement made on his platform X.
After the awarding, Musk said he thinks "this is kinda fun" and "it seems like a good use of money."
Musk touched on other things during the town hall, like the importance of voting early while campaigning on behalf of the Trump-Vance ticket.
