Tropical Storm Nadine has formed between Belize and Honduras and is set to bring heavy rain to parts of Central America.
Tropical storm warnings have been issued from Belize City, Belize to Cancun, in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, meaning that tropical storm conditions are expected through this weekend.
Nadine will be pushed westward through the weekend. There is a short window through Saturday where it could become modestly stronger before it runs into land.
The main threat from Nadine is heavy rain in Honduras, Belize, Guatemala, and southern and eastern Mexico.
As it moves westward, it will bring 3-8 inches of rain in those countries with some communities seeing up to 15 inches.
Some areas along the Caribbean coast from the Yucatan Peninsula to Honduras could see gusty winds this weekend.
