Ft. Pierce, Fla. — Debbie Kennedy retired to Florida seven months ago after a lifetime working and raising a family in Cayuga County.

Kennedy, 66, of Union Springs, died overnight Wednesday at Spanish Lakes Country Club Village in Fort Pierce, Fla. from a tornado spawned by Hurricane Milton, her daughter told syracuse.com | The Post-Standard on Friday.
