Both Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump plan events Monday to mark the anniversary of the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks by Hamas on Israel. Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff are scheduled to plant a tree on the grounds of the vice president’s residence in Washington in honor of the victims. Trump plans to gather with Jewish community leaders at his resort in the Miami area. On Monday night, “60 Minutes” is scheduled to air its taped interviews with Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D).
